Apostolic Fund Support: A Double Prayer
I want to begin this week’s update by first expressing great thanksgiving to the Lord for His goodness in connecting us with so many amazing people like you. I also want to say thanks to each and everyone of you. I/we want to express our heartfelt thanksgiving to each and every friend, to each and everyone who prayers for us, and to each and everyone who gives financial support for Ron Sawka Ministries.
And as December is the month we focus on Apostolic Fund Support (AFS), I also want to say special thanks to the many of you who are AFS supporters. You have given the equivalent of US$ 1,200 for the year. You may be from Japan, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, Canada and USA, New Zealand or Australia and are friends of the Apostolic and prophetic and friends of us.
It’s the support through this Apostolic Fund that provides a greatly appreciated and necessary financial foundation for us. Even during the Covid years when travel, ministry, and normal flows of finance were reduced, your giving was and is especially vital. The AFS helps us to do webcasting, book publishing, and finance ministry trips as well as help cover all the overhead of administration staff and various helpers as well as provide some assistance to the amazing ministry of Yarn Alive. We simply could not be doing all these things without your help.
Our two fold prayer for you
We look at each one of you as being a team member. Thus we (I and our staff) enjoy prophesying to you from time to time throughout the year. We also pray for you weekly. Thus we ask for you to share prayer needs and/or requests. Besides that, there are two basic things I pray for each one.
One is about the Lord giving to you. I am always blessed to read about Elijah. The Lord told him to go to Zarephath because He had commanded a widow there to provide for him. He went. This widow did not know him but granted his request and used the last of her and her son’s oil and flour to bake bread which she shared with him. It must have been quite a stretch to Elijah’s faith to be able to receive from someone like her in such desperate straits. But he received and then prophesied, “For this is what the Lord God of Israel has said: ‘The jar of flour will not be empty and the jug of oil will not run out…” 1Kings 17:14.
I love this story. If you the givers are symbolic of that widow, then I have to be like the symbolic Elijah and believe that God is blessing you by your giving to us. In other words, just like the widow gave sacrificially to feed Elijah and it resulted in multiplied blessing/provision back to her, I seriously do pray and believe for each of you to also be supernaturally blessed (and definitely including in the area of financial provision) in return.
The second prayer is like how Paul prayed for the Ephesians. He prayed for a spirit of wisdom and revelation….. Actually this is a hugely important prayer ministry for any and all of us. I have found that as I pray for others’ spiritual eyes to be opened, my own spiritual eyes open more and more. As I pray for others to get spirit of wisdom and revelation of the knowledge of Christ, I find I myself getting more and more revelation. I do want to keep praying this for you, and urge you to do this for others. I believe we will see family members being restored and begin to grow quickly. I believe even non-believers will begin to be touched by Holy Spirit and their eyes begin to be opened, leading to salvation.
So thank you so much for your support and help this year. I do hope you will feel led to support us again in 2023. There is a response form at the bottom. And yes, please be sure to send us an updated photo. It does make it easier to pray for you when I can see your face.
And by the way, I am looking forward to the New Year and all the doors the Lord is opening now that we have crossed into what many are calling “Billion Soul” harvest. From the fall, it seems we have suddenly gotten super busy. There have already been two separate trips to Korea as well as a trip to Taiwan already. Next year will be much more.

The Lord wants us to keep advancing. We do this by keeping our alignment and growing on the foundation of things previously learned. God wants us to develop warfare strategies. We can rely on prophecies He has given us, as well as using prophetic warfare anointing.
