“And it came to pass, on that very same day, that the Lord brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt according to their armies” (Exod. 12:51).
“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war” (Rev. 19:11).
“In the seventh year Jehoiada sent and brought the captains of hundreds—of the bodyguards and the escorts—and brought them into the house of the Lord to him. And he made a covenant with them” (2 Kings 11:4).
Apostolic Centers and Open Heavens Extending
Each week, it seems the Lord shows us something new about Apostolic Centers through our weekly Online Apostolic Center (APC-MPP). Recently, it has been about gaining an open heaven. This week is about the scope and how far an “open heaven” can extend.
A number of points are as follows:
1. For twelve years, we did weekday online webcasts of Morning Prophetic Prayer (MPP). Daily, viewers numbered between 1000–2000 in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
2. The Lord told us to stop MPP and shift to a new format. Immediately, I knew we were now an Online Apostolic Center with a purpose of seeing believers released into the harvest field. We began once-a-week, hour-long webcasts on November 5, 2024.
3. He led us to the idea of “covenant” through the story of Jehoida and the seven-year-old Joash (see 2 Kings 11). God led Jehoida to covenant with the guards, bodyguards, and captains. Once they covenanted, it was amazingly easy to set Joash rightfully on the throne and to depose the wicked usurper. What an example for us. By covenanting, an authority is released to advance the kingdom of God and easily pull down strongholds and demonic opposition.
4. I asked all the viewers to covenant with us. This is strictly informal and just a matter of the heart. This means they recognize the Lord has led them to watch. They aren’t just passively receiving, but are helping us carry the meeting in faith, and are praying for God’s purposes for the meeting and for each viewer to be accomplished. (Hopefully, this informal covenant will be a model and example to help each understand how to covenant with their own church or group.)
5. Revelation 19:11 describes the heavens opening and Jesus leading His armies forth to war to expand the kingdom of God as a result of the worship and adoration of the saints. I believe every time we meet, He wants to open the heavens and lead His armies forth. He is the Lord of Hosts. The heavenly component—the angels—are always ready. But often the earthly component of His armies aren’t ready because they are just individuals. They need to be covenanted together, as in the example of Jehoida.
6. Each webcast, I remind the viewers that even though this is completely informal, we are, in fact covenanted together. We are a segment of His armies. I believe—and feel we must all believe—that each time we meet, the heavens do open and Jesus is leading us forth in warfare and expansion.
7. The “open heaven” doesn’t close when the webcast ends, but extends to each covenanted one all through the week and in their circumstances. Isaiah 60:11 states, “Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day or night.”
8. You may ask, “Can that open heaven extend to me even if I’m not a viewer of APC-MPP?” Yes, I believe so. In fact, there are so many supporters and friends around the world who don’t have opportunity to connect with our webcast. But you still have the heart connection and commitment. Know that your connection results in open heavens for you.
9. There are others who desperately need breakthrough and even covering. Make the informal commitment to covenant. There will be breakthrough and miracles for you.
Prayer Corner-Things for all of us to pray for
Ask for readership of the weekly update to increase. I have discovered many in different nations who use the teachings for their own groups. Hallelujah!
Thank you for praying for the number of listeners of our webcasts to increase. There have been significant increases of listeners in Russia and Korea.
Keep praying for many to respond to the Lord’s request to use their oikos (household/workplaces). I believe we will soon start hearing testimonies of amazing things happening.
Thanks for your praying,
Ron and Teddy
Shevat—the Eleventh Hebrew Month, 5785
January 30–February 28, 2025
Time to Shout out the Goodness of God
Shouting out and forcefully declaring the goodness of God is very important this month. Why?
1. We are declaring an eternal truth that God is good, especially to those who believe and walk with Him. Declaring—even shouting it out at times—will help drive out negative thoughts and feelings that many of us may have been carrying for years.
2. It helps to align us with correct thinking rather than “foolish thinking” (e.g., “God doesn’t care,” or “God isn’t interested in me or my problem”). Note Romans 1:21, which points out that “although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened” (emphasis added).
3. So instead of our thoughts/hearts being futile/darkened, we will focus our minds on Him in faith and in daily expectation.
4. However, we must remember to link each month with the year, and this year, 5785, is a “hei” year. God wants us to know His breath is upon us. Because of His breath, promises come to pass, and prophecies begin to be fulfilled. In fact, our declaration in faith increases His “breath” upon us.
So declare His goodness. Shout out that you are satisfied, especially when “troubles” may rise up against you.
