“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” (Eph. 6:18).
“Then the Lord appeared again in Shiloh. For the Lord revealed Himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the Lord” (1 Sam. 3:21).
“He is risen!” “He is risen, indeed.” I’m so glad we can echo these words spoken by believers ever since Jesus rose from the dead. Through His resurrection, God emphatically declared Jesus is—and will always be—Lord over all. He rules the world. He rules over sin. He rules over the devil and demons. And He rules over sickness and death. May this Easter/Passover mark the beginning of more miracles and the power of God in your life!
Next Monday, April 8, MPP will resume. It will be a bit shorter. It will run from 6:18 a.m.–6:45 a.m. (Japan time. Yes, the starting time of 6:18 a.m. is a bit unusual. But it comes from Ephesians 6:18, which states, “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.” It was one of the very first scriptures the Lord spoke to me in the hospital after my surgery.
I know great harvest will be coming forth, especially in Japan, and I feel the Lord is transitioning MPP to be a part of it. This is because MPP has to do with hearing and releasing the voice of God. Recently I read 1 Samuel 3:21, which says, “Then the Lord appeared again in Shiloh. For the Lord revealed Himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the Lord.”
The Lord wanted to reveal himself, but couldn’t until He had a prepared vessel—Samuel. Once Samuel was “activated,” God could speak to him and through him. God could begin to reveal Himself to move on behalf of Israel, which desperately needed His help.
Consider the progression. Hannah, Samuel’s mother, interceded desperately. Her prayer was answered and Samuel, one who could hear God’s voice, was birthed. Similarly in Japan and around the world, there has been much desperate intercession. God has heard. Believers have been birthed who are activated to hear the voice of God. God will speak to and through them. He will reveal himself and move powerfully. Salvation and miracles will follow.
Therefore, somehow our assignment must be to help speed up activating every believer to hear the voice of God. Through the prayers and intercession of others, each of us has been born again. Each of us is to be a Samuel whose very name means to hear the voice of God. God wants us to hear His voice so He can reveal Himself to and through us—to our friends, neighbors, and those around us—so they can be included in the great harvest coming now upon us.

A New Beginning—Walking In the Power of God!
Nissan—The First Hebrew Month of 5784
April 9–May 8, 2024
I love this month, Nissan, because it’s the first month of the Hebrew year and is the beginning of the redemption cycle. Nissan contains Passover (April 22), the Feast of Unleavened Bread (April 22–30), and the Feast of Firstfruits (April 27–28).
Nissan is a time of leaving the old and crossing over into a life of walking with the Lord. The Israelites were set free from the old (Egypt), and were released into a new life walking with the Lord. I think now, this year, each of us needs to fully embrace that God wants us to walk with Him and see His power in 2024. We know the Israelites saw many miracles, but never learned from them. They somehow stayed in complaining and unbelief. May it never be that way for us!
Yes, we too will encounter trials. But each time, let’s be sure to respond in praise and joy. Be sure to remember Nissan is also the month of the tribe of Judah, which means “praise.” If we let praise always be our first response, we will surely find we are entering a new beginning of walking in the power of God.
MPP - New Beginning
My (Ron's) sudden surgery on December 21st led to almost four months of no MPP. I believe God meant this to be a rest and a stop so that we could have a new beginning. God did much in our first 12 years of MPP, but now He wants to do something new and much more. In format, MPP will be the same, but I believe it will result in more harvest and miracles as well as result in many being release/used in the harvest.
New MPP begins on Monday, April 8th with a new starting time of 6:18am JST (closing time is the same--6:45am). MPP will continue to be on Monday through Friday, excluding Japanese holidays.
