Explaining Morning Prophetic and Prayer (MPP)*

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, ‘See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy’” (Rev. 19:10).

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. … And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him” (Rev. 19:11, 14).

One of the highlights of my days is being part of Morning Prophetic and Prayer (MPP). I am always amazed at how the Holy Spirit leads us. I feel the Lord uses our prophesying, praise, prayer, and declarations to minister both to individuals as well to our nations. I also feel our gathering each morning prepares good works, ministry opportunities, and open doors for each of us every day.

On Monday morning when we started, there was such an immediate outpouring of joy and celebration. I was immediately reminded of Jesus on a white horse leading forth His armies (see Rev. 19:11, above). I know that when we are praising Him, somehow we are part of His army and that we advance with Him.

So, we began to read Revelation 19. The first two verses speak of a multitude of loud voices declaring, “Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God” (19:1), and continue to say He has judged the great harlot (the world system based on anti-God and anti-Christ thinking) that corrupts the earth (19:2). The saints not only were saying this, but also kept repeating “Alleluia” again and again.

In other words, even though the world seems out of control and that forces of darkness seem to be ruling, these heavenly saints were declaring that Jesus is in charge and He is on time and He is releasing judgments and His kingdom is advancing.

That reminded me of Isaiah 40:30–31 which states, “Even the youths shall faint and be weary… but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” It was like a word of knowledge that the Lord wanted to deal with “weariness and tiredness” that some people were feeling. Weariness and tiredness come whenever we start thinking the darkness is too dark or too strong and that nothing is changing. We defeat that when align with the truth and declare He is solely in charge.

We continued reading in Revelation 19, and came to the section about the marriage supper of the Lamb (6–10). It really did feel like the Lord had prepared a feast for us. Then verse 8 describes the fine, bright linen garments which specifically are described as “the righteous acts of the saints.” In other words, because of our praise and aligning ourselves with God, we not only were strengthened and blessed, but miracles, healings, signs and wonders, and simple acts of kindness were also being prepared for us to carry out in the day ahead.

A brief summary follows:

  1. On Monday morning, the Holy Spirit led us to praise and declare the goodness, power, and salvation of God (see Rev. 19).

  2. As we started declaring, we were led to do this more and more. Spiritual tiredness was broken.

  3. It then felt like we were at a banquet where He fed us and gave us wine of the Holy Spirit to drink.

  4. All of this resulted in the Lord preparing “good works” for us to do that day which would bless us and bless others.

  5. Our times with the Lord should not only result in our being blessed and helped, but should also result in our going forth to help others. I think Revelation 19:10 is a subtle reminder to John and to all of us that the Lord wants to use us and will constantly prepare good works for us to do. We read, “‘See that you do not do that. I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.’”

I wonder if John was so moved by the heavenly praise and presence of God that he wanted to stay in a state of worship and was getting his priorities mixed up? Thus, the angel gently rebukes him and reminds him that he is just a fellow servant, and like John, he also has the testimony of Jesus. As if to say, “So, John, you go and use that testimony of Jesus, and we will be right there with you in the unseen realm helping you.”

I guess no matter how we explain it, I’m glad that the Lord uses MPP to both help people and to mobilize them. I also know that God is hastening everything. There will be more and more “good works” prepared for each of us because the harvest is at hand.

Thanks for praying,

Ron and Teddy

*MPP started in the fall of 2012. Weekdays, it runs from 6:00–6:45 a.m., Japan time, and is conducted in English and Japanese. On average, around 100 people listen/watch live on YouTube. Another 800–900 watch/listen later throughout the day. Demographically, the biggest group is Japanese, but there are also significant numbers from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Australia—as well as viewers from Canada, the US, Mexico, Ukraine, Russia, and the Middle East. Mandarin transcripts also are sent daily to another several hundred.

Pray for Ukraine and Israel

Let’s not forget the hard, grueling war in Ukraine, which I believe by the grace of God is able to hold its own against the much more powerful Russian nation and military.

I also want to continue to announce the daily fifteen-minute prayer session for Israel led by Patricia Bootsma (CTF), which I highly recommend. You can join via Zoom: http://prayer.jhisrael.com/pray; passcode: pray.

Wearing the Crown to See a Flooding of Supernatural in Our Lives

Tevet—The Tenth Hebrew Month

December 13, 2023–January 10, 2024

The Lord wants us to be supernatural people. He is a God of power and miracles, and He wants the supernatural to be a part of our lives—daily. Not once a week or month, but daily. One of the hindrances is an occult veil that can be over us and over our nation. One solution is to rededicate ourselves, our homes, and our work to Him. As we do so, the enemy is exposed and we can easily break its power in Jesus’s name.

All of this connects to Hannukah (or Feast of Dedication [see John 10:22]). When we are dedicated to Him, which means that we live our lives for Him, then the oil of His anointing doesn’t run out. Our light shines brighter and brighter.

We should also note that not “walking in the supernatural” leads to disappointment and a kind of spiritual sickness that plagues many Christians today (“Hope deferred makes the heart sick” [Prov. 13:12]). God doesn’t want us living in fear or discouragement, or merely getting through each day. He wants us to rule with Him and advance daily. Remind yourself that He has prepared and shaped us. There is no need for delay. Wear the crown He has prepared. Let’s rule with Him. We will see a flooding of supernatural in our daily lives.
