“According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it” (1 Cor. 3:10, NKJV).

“Sing O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing and cry aloud. … For more are the children of the desolate … Enlarge the place of your tent” (Isa. 54:1–2).

GYM—Laying Apostolic Foundations

Some of our very best apostles and prophets have gone through this multiple times. A few have even asked their members sign up as well!

September 17, 2020–July 15, 2021

I am so thankful for the incredible apostolic-prophetic (AP) anointing that my son Mike and his wife Rachel carry. A few years ago, the Lord drew their attention to missing foundations in people’s lives and gave them a strategy of how to lay those foundations. We were, in fact, quite effective in AP training such as prophesying, healing, and breakthrough. The results in lives and ministries were genuinely astounding. It’s amazing the powerful effect the AP has on people’s lives.

However, Mike’s attention kept being drawn to why that fruitfulness began to decrease. After a few years, why did people begin to slow down or even regress? They quickly identified the cause as insufficient foundations for daily living. People had gained anointing and the ability to minister, but “muscles” for daily living were under-developed. There were issues like not knowing the love of God, struggles with rejection, struggles over self-identity and a lack of confidence, and struggles in family relationships.

Thus, they started GYM.

For a fitness program to succeed, it requires the following three things: 1) time and commitment; 2) a whole-body program under the guidance of a trainer—not just what the individual wants to focus on; 3) and an individual spotter or helper for each trainee.

A spiritual fitness program succeeds in the same way…

Their spiritual-exercise program, GYM, includes the following: 1) a time period of forty weeks; 2) covering vital topics (e.g., the goodness of God, identity, relationships that flourish, God’s system of finances for prosperity); 3) and a mentoring system (each person has a “mentor” that personally shares with them weekly).

Before you check out the details at, let me tell you the results:

  1. Many have chosen to do the program repeatedly.

  2. Family lives have been changed.

  3. Individual lives have become peaceful, joyful, and stable.

  4. Leaders and ministers have become more powerful.

  5. As identity is understood, an incredible security of “who am I in the Lord” arises.

I could go on and on. But please sign up. Everyone needs these apostolic foundations.

Three Weeks to Break Barrenness and Enter Enlargement (June 14–July 5)

We are now in the third week of praying in tongues for thirty minutes a day. On June 14, I had been preaching on how the blowing of the trumpets/shofar in the Old Testament was a picture of praying in tongues in the New Testament. The Lord led us to Isaiah 54, and immediately I knew to declare that if we prayed in tongues thirty minutes a day for three weeks, all kinds of barrenness would be broken.

Please join us online (on my public Facebook page) Sunday, July 5, at 11:00 a.m. (English-Japanese), and then at 8:30 p.m. (English-Chinese) as we focus on the breaking of whatever barrenness you feel needs to be broken in your life. (See Broadcast Schedule below for details.)

Yarn Alive Relaunching July 1

Finally, Teddy and Yarn Alive are going back into a mostly regular schedule. While Japan is still pretty closed to most visitors from outside the nation, within Japan it is pretty open. Naturally, the activities will be altered a bit for safety. But the women are very, very excited.

Also, we want to say a huge “THANK YOU” to those who made special donations to Yarn Alive the past few weeks. Your financial support greatly helped. Additional financial support would also really be appreciated.

If you are interested in helping financially, please contact or visit
