Strategies for Uncertain Times Series:

1. Do Warfare with Your Prophecy

2. Stay in Joy

3. Remember You Are Anointed and Walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit

4. Let the Lord Fill Your Mouth with His Things to Declare

5. We Just Have to Begin Speaking It Out

I want to continue the series on strategies for uncertain times, but first let me mention two things:

  1. MPP—Please pray for great increase, not just in viewer numbers, but also that non-Christians would increasingly “tune in.”

  2. Online Apostolic Center—One of our assignments is to demonstrate apostolic centers and the raising up of the ekklesia. I have long viewed my webcasts and MPP as operations of an apostolic center. In other words, we gather together (albeit online) and trust the Holy Spirit to lead us for breakthrough, miracles, and advance. Yes, there is teaching and preaching, but the key is we are God’s people gathered together in His name, and faith is exponentially increased. Please join us (online schedule posted below).

We Just Have to Begin Speaking It Out

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Prov. 18:21).

“The words I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).

Something in my spirit really leaped Tuesday morning during MPP’s opening prayer—they prayed that today many people would meet Jesus; that today many would be healed; that today many would find their lives being changed. I rejoiced to hear that. I believe the Holy Spirit inside of me was also rejoicing over this powerful declaration of things that are so obviously the will of God. Additionally, I rejoiced because I was being touched by the Holy Spirit on account of what was being said.

The night before the Lord had spoken to me from James 3 about the power of the tongue. Three illustrations are given: 1) a powerful horse can be controlled with a bit in its mouth; 2) a huge ship is steered by a small rudder; 3) and a tiny flame can start a forest fire.

The power of the tongue is undeniable. The devil and our flesh pull us toward saying negative things. Verse 8 states, “No man can tame the tongue. It is … full of deadly poison.” And truly, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Prov. 18:21). This should make us more determined than ever to speak and declare good things—to speak out what the Lord is already saying. Life, miracles, healings, and harvest will be produced. Life, not death, will be produced.

As we declare these things the Lord is already saying (e.g., “We are anointed,” “Now is the time of revival”), the Holy Spirit is poured out through us—through the words we speak. Again, I refer to what happened to me on Tuesday morning. As we were led in opening prayer, the Holy Spirit really touched my heart.

In 2 Kings 4:1–7, Elisha told the widow to gather as many empty jars as possible and to start pouring the little oil she had into them. She obeyed and began pouring. She kept pouring and pouring as the oil continued to flow. Likewise, as we start speaking and declaring what the Lord is saying, we will find the Spirit being poured out through us, and He will continue to be poured out because of those words. We will be affected, as will others—so will our homes, businesses, ministries, and regions.

Be blessed! Thanks so much for praying!

Shevat—A Time to Amplify Your Shout

The Eleventh Month of Hebrew Year 5781 (Jan. 14–Feb. 12, 2021

This whole decade is about “the mouth,” and this month focuses on what we say. We don’t want to only say “God is good,” but we also need to forcefully declare it. The forceful declaration blesses us and can heal us. It also is an announcement to the forces of darkness and they have to back off. More information may be found here.
